Wonderful portraits! I specialized in portrait photography in college, but now I paint them instead. I have a soft spot for photography though - it’s like looking through a magic window that can freeze time in such a way as to reveal not only something about the subject but also the viewer.
Speaking about getting to know someone with a photograph.....have you ever taken a piece of paper and divided a persons face in a full frontal picture (vertically dividing the nose, chin and forehead)?
