A handful of people have messaged me today asking if I accept submissions for FlakPhoto publication. The answer, of course, is yes! Please email me anytime.
I regularly feature the photographers, books, and projects that come across my desk here in the newsletter and on Instagram.
Keeping up with correspondence is my Achilles’ heel, but I am always looking, and I love seeing new work. If you’re making something cool, please let me know.

I've submitted work several times over the past few years (starting in August 2023, with follow-ups in 2024 and 2025). As someone who has submitted work multiple times over the past few years, I have to admit that not receiving any response can be more discouraging than receiving a rejection. A rejection at least provides closure and lets photographers know their work was seen.
That said, I appreciate your openness about the volume of correspondence you receive and your continued willingness to look at new work. It's encouraging to know that submissions are still welcome.
