Rob’s work is great. Thanks for brining him to our attention. It also makes me yearn to get good enough to have a visual signature. It feels like something I can a) try to create or b) will happen when I get good enough...and I think b) is the right way, even if the longer way.

I bumped into Rob in Soho years ago, where he was selling his prints. Loved them, bought two of them, and have been a fan of his ever since. Thanks for sharing Andy!

I love the idea pf photography stories. So many beautiful pictures, and it is fascinating to find out what is behind them. I love Rob's photos. I wonder if he looks at the American landscape differently because he is British?

I assume so — Each of us sees things from a unique perspective, right? I did ask him...

I'm a petrol head and the Bonneville Salt Flats was where Malcolm Campbell took his car over 300 mph I think. He broke the world speed record at Pendine Sands, in South Wales (where I'm from) a few years before that. All the children of South Wales will have all heard a little bit about Campbell and his car, the Bluebird

I reached out to Rob hoping to get a copy of his book. Sadly, it is sold out with no plans for a second edition. I really enjoy the work. It is like a distilled essence of a very special slow decay which humans leave behind when new highways take over and places, where the sun and wind slowly return what is forgotten back to nature. I really enjoy the work.

Bummer! I'm glad you talked to Rob. He has a new book coming out this year, though I'm not sure what it's going to be about. Thanks for looking, Soren. I appreciate it!
