It’s not summer yet.
Well, not technically, anyway. The summer solstice falls on June 20 this year, so showcasing a mix of Spring Pictures is still appropriate. Right? 😉
In recent years, I’ve become more attuned to the unique characteristics of the spring season. Of course, I live in the American Upper Midwest, so my experience may differ from yours. Where I live colors how I think and feel about spring — what it means to me, how it looks, and how I see it. So, this mix is a subjective point of view.
That’s photography in a nutshell: each of us sees things uniquely. I love that.
Thanks to the hundreds of photographers from around the world who sent submissions over the past few weeks. I’m always overwhelmed (and overjoyed) by the response to my calls for photography. I love hearing from each of you and very much appreciate seeing your work. Thank you so much for sharing it with me.
I’ve narrowed my selection to forty photographers. This post may be clipped in your email inbox, so please be sure to touch the headline to see these images fullscreen in your browser. I’ll keep my words to a minimum and let the pictures do the talking. There is a lot of beauty here, and I love the vibe. I hope you like what you see.
I want more people to see these photographers. Please share this post. Enjoy!

This is a cool collection. I like how some photos are a little moody. 👍
