Starting the day with a picture can pay dividends
Years ago, I realized that photography was good for you.
Simply making time to think about or look at pictures pays dividends — even better when those pictures are beautiful. A while back, I got into a routine of showing beautiful images on my Instagram. If you follow me on IG, you’ve probably seen my “Something beautiful to start this day” posts from time to time. I’m always looking and think starting each day with a positive mindset is essential. Looking at pictures does that for me. So I thought I’d do that occasionally in the newsletter, too — share glimpses of the photographic beauty I encounter along my journey with you.
Today’s picture is by the talented Isa Rus, whose work I genuinely love. I wrote about Isa here a few months ago. If you don’t know her yet, please check her out. Isa’s imagemaking is sensual and soulful. She posted this one on Instagram earlier today, and I just had to share it with you. It’s summertime in a nutshell. I love it. I hope you do, too.
