The immigrant story for artists, like Dina and myself, are quite universal. Our parents want the best for us but don't know quite how, so that becomes a pressurized zone we had to learn to live and breath in. I am glad we were both able to emerge from that. Such a wonderful interview and recap of Dina's work, both evocative and poignant.

Love Dina’s work and this interview, but also the avalanches??! Totally new to me and I am instantly obsessed.
Wonderful insights from a remarkable perspective. Thanks Andy!
Nice article, thanks for writing it. I read Litovsky's Substack. It is interesting and inspiring.
I recommend you interview Jasper Fford. He's a writer and photographer in Wales. His books are great and his photography fascinating.
Great interview. Really enjoyed this, Andy. Glad to discover this artist and have even subscribed to “In the Flash” for more of the same.
