Andy, This is a very moving post and tribute. EJ looks like such a beautiful and vibrant force. I am truly sorry for your loss and for all who knew and loved her. Grieving such a loss feels almost impossible.

It is strange, isn't it, how so many of us can communicate over the Internet in ways that can enrich and strengthen us.

Thank you for sharing these thoughts and for bringing the work of artists and photographers out into the world for us all. I appreciate all you do.

Oh so unfair, the look in her youngest son eyes brought me to tears, I took a breath and read the essay, then I watched the video with I assume her son and husband singing, I broke again. Thank you Andy for sharing your friend’s life with us. 😇🙏

This is such a beautiful tribute to EJ. Thank you for sharing. "I cried yesterday when I heard the news, which is a testament to the power of social media to make real, meaningful connections between people." — people often talk about how social media is isolating us, but I also relate with making meaningful friendships on the Internet, and I'm so glad you said this. Thank you for sharing EJ's work and spirit.

Thank you for sharing this moving tribute for EJ. I read her original post and some of her IG posts, so very unfortunate such a loving bright woman didn't survive and see her boys grow up. Cancer is simply a terrible monster that strikes young and old without discrimination. My daughter & I have both experienced cancer's reach, some days, usually when I'm very tired, I wait for the other shoe to drop. EJ was so angry at re-lapsing, it must have been so mentally exhausting for her and her family. I wish you and her family solace in her memories and photos.
