Hey friends,
Thanks again to everyone who responded to my message on Monday. I hate cluttering your inbox with so much administrative junk, but these are the challenges of running a newsletter program.
I promise I won’t do this often. Thank you for being patient with me.
Several of you have messaged me about not receiving my newsletters in your email inbox for some time. I did some digging, and I believe this may be due to a setting in the Substack app.
Here’s the thing: Substack allows you to toggle email notifications OFF to prioritize the app, and they may have encouraged you to do that at some point. If that's your preference, great! However, if you prefer to get
by email, updating your settings is an easy fix.You can change this setting by logging in to Substack, navigating to your profile, and selecting Settings. From there, go to Notifications and select “Prefer email,” like so:
Again, I apologize for this tedious interruption. I want to make sure that Substack’s tech doesn’t get between us. Questions? Please let me know. Thanks!
I’ll leave you with something beautiful — Photographers Søren Solkær's starling murmurations are something to behold. You can see more here. Have a great weekend, friends. Take care!
Beautiful! I know photographers who wanted to capture this and wow Soren did it.
Soren’s work is beautiful, thanks for sharing. Nice to see nature chosen over celebrity by the museum director.
