I love Niall McDiarmid's work! I discovered him on Instagram a few years ago and even since, I have been sharing his work in all my color photography lectures at CCSF. I also have his books "Town to Town" and "Shore" He is very inspiring.
I just returned from 10 days in Lisbon and Porto. The two cities were bursting with color - their doors, tile-work, window displays, street art. I put together an Instagram reel. Check out my feed @yinpheng
I am hungry for color, especially during Milwaukee winters. I stray from the crowd of "serious" photographers who only shoot in black and white. I shoot in color. It feeds my eyes and heart. Thank you for this gorgeous post!
Wow the colors. So vibrant, they jump off the screen.
I thought you'd like these, Tommy, since color is such a key part of your practice. Were you familiar with Niall's work?
Not until now :) I am always discovering new talents and fellow photographers here!
I’m sure seeing this post will make me zoom in on the colors around me a little bit more closely. Some lovely photos.
Niall McDiarmid is always such an inspiration. Thanks so much for sharing his work!

Excellent! If you like those books, you will love COLOUR. And have you seen his breakfast book? It's a classic!
Thanks for the tips. These additional books are now officially on my wish list!
These remind me of two of my favorite photographers. Ralph Gibson (his color work) and William Eggleston!
