John Irvine's Moody Scottish Landscapes
Slowing down to appreciate the season
Hey friends, I’m mainly taking the week off, but I wanted to send a few pictures so you have something to look at as you head into the weekend. John Irvine shared these photographs with me the other day, and they are lovely.
Fall keeps falling in Wisconsin, and winter will be here before long. Keeping with the autumnal theme of the season, I found John’s Scottish landscape views to be hauntingly beautiful. The transition from fall to winter is quite stunning when you make time to notice the colors fading from the natural world. These are gorgeous, quiet pictures, and they may help calm your mind, as they did for me..
John doesn’t have a website, but he keeps an Instagram portfolio, and his pictures are the kinds of moody, quiet landscapes I love so much. Please take a moment to explore his feed this weekend and follow him if the urge strikes. He’ll appreciate it.
Thanks, as always, for looking, folks — Have a terrific weekend!
