It's official: I still love Instagram
What can I say — I’m hooked!
I always gripe about Instagram, but it’s still my go-to place for photography conversations. And too many interesting creative people are hanging out there to ignore it. I’m having so much fun with this Five Photographers feature and hope you’re enjoying it as much as I am. It feels good to return to my roots and showcase the great new work that’s caught my eye. I’ll keep this post brief so you can right to it.
As always, if you make pictures or know someone who does, please drop me a line so I can check out their work. I’m always looking and love seeing new images. And if you’re new toand seeing this newsletter for the first time, I hope you’ll subscribe. If you like what you see, give these folks a follow. They’ll appreciate the audience, and you’ll have some new inspiration in your feed the next time you log on. Enjoy!
One more thing…
Daniella Zalcman sends word about a workshop opportunity happening in New Orleans. In September, she and Natalie Keyssar will lead a small cohort through mini assignments, skills-building talks, portfolio reviews, and group critiques. There are scholarship spots available, some earmarked explicitly for New Orleans locals. The application deadline for paid participants is July 31, and they’ll start reaching out to scholarship applicants on a rolling basis beginning in July. Sounds great!
