Great idea Andy. But I would be cautious with the question. In other words, make the question focussed. So the question becomes: Ask Me Anything about [insert subject here]. That way you encourage a focussed discussion. I hope this helps.
I honestly think that it's a great idea! It may help you to note things that you haven't noticed, etc. If anything that would only make your work better. It's really a smart move that may increase your customers. Although I do agree with John in adding to it because to say "ask me anything" may result in some rather odd questions. You may wish to target your audience. Example Ask me about photography? Ask me about art? Ask me about life? Really good idea though!!!
I agree with John Corcelli - narrow the questions to a specific topic that you can competently cover. Otherwise too many "I'll get back to you" responses become useless.
Sounds great, as well as your expanded idea of passing the question on to those who might have interesting insights. Or even multiple people to hear different takes. Onward!

Sounds like a wonderful way to keep things human. Love it.

Yes! love the passing it around bit too
It's a great idea Andy for anyone who needs photography advice. Some people might just want feedback on shots they've taken.

Here's one guaranteed to start a religious war:
Canon, or Nikon?
Ha!
Great idea, Andy! I appreciate how you're always thinking of new ways to support fellow photography-lovers and our projects.

Great idea Andy,...I agree with John Corcelli and others - narrow the topic down.
